"Program is not properly installed. Please run setup again"

This information applies to:

  • WinWay Resume Deluxe 12 or later

Summary

  1. When starting WinWay Resume, you encountered the message "Program is not properly installed.  Please run setup again."
  2. Running setup again did not resolve the problem 
  3. Your computer is running Kaspersky Internet Security, most likely version 8.0 (2009).

More information

    To resolve the problem:

  1. Select Start, Control Panel, "Uninstall a Program"
  2. Uninstall WinWay Resume Deluxe
  3. Locate the Kaspersky icon at the bottom-right of your screen
  4. Right-click on the Kaspersky icon and choose "Pause Protection" 
  5. Follow the instructions on the screen to pause protection for at least 15 minutes
  6. Install the WinWay Resume program
  7. Locate the Kaspersky icon at the bottom right of your screen
  8. Right-click on the Kaspersky icon and choose "Resume Protection"
