Summary
- Style allow you to change the layout of a section of your resume, such as Experience or Education.
- Themes allow you to change the layout of the whole resume. This article shows how to apply and remove themes.

To modify the style:
- Click on a section of your resume
- Note the style bar. In version 3.0 through 9.0, the style bar is right under the menu. In versions 10.0 and 11.0, the style bar is on the left of the screen. In versions 12 and later, the style bar is on top. The style bar is comprised of buttons with blue horizontal lines on them. Different sections use different style bars
- Click on different styles to modify the layout of the section
Applying a Theme
- From the menu, select Format, Themes (in Version 12 and later, click "Themes" at the top of the left column)
- Choose the theme you wish to try and click on Apply
Removing A Theme

To remove a theme right after you chose "Close", select Edit, Undo.
- To remove the effect of the theme long after the theme has been applied, use the various options on the Format menu to undo the effect of the theme.
- Another way to remove a theme:
- Exit WinWay Resume
- Run WinWay Resume, do not open your resume
- Select File, Save and name the file "plain.rsm"
- Open your resume
- Click on "Themes"
- Click on the green button "Theme"
- Scroll all the way to the end and select "From Resume File"
- Select your Plain.RSM file
- Click APPLY
