Summary
WinWay Resume Deluxe 9.0 includes over 13,000 customizable resumes. It also includes a powerful AutoWriter that can write resumes for any profession.
More Information
- To find a resume sample in your profession, select File, Ready to use Resumes, and enter a few keywords that describe your profession. These can be any words that will appear in a resume.
For example, if you are writing a resume for a plumber, you can look for the word "Plumber", or you can enter "faucets" and "pipes". Either way you will locate all the resume samples that are concerned with this profession
- Note that the resume samples in WinWay Resume are for specific professions and not for "generic" titles such as "Vice President" or "Assistant". If you cannot find a sample for your actual job title, look for words that are commonly used to describe what you do.
- Another good resource to use is the AutoWriter(r), which allows you to combine several jobs to describe your own.
a) Start with the default (Empty) resume
b) Double click on the Experience section, then click on the "Description" tab
d) Click on "AutoWriter" and note that it automatically chooses the "Experience" Section. It has other useful sections such as "highlights"
e) Use phrases from the AutoWriter to build your own resume
- Yet another good resource for resume content is the Internet module of WinWay Resume. Click on "Internet", and use the "Job Agent" to look for job openings in your profession. Find the job openings that best suit your needs and copy phrases from the job description into your resume. Edit them to best match your own experience and skills.
