Summary

The installation is interrupted with a message "Error 2753. The file winres.exe is not marked for installation"

Resolution

1. Reboot the computer
2. Visit this Microsoft web page , and then click on "Run Now"
3. When asked if you wish to run or save, select "Run"
4. If you accept the terms, click "Accept"
5. Click on "Detect problems and apply the fixes"
6. Click on "uninstalling", choose "WinWay Resume Deluxe", and indicate that you are having difficulty uninstalling it
7. Proceed according to the instructions on the screen
8. When complete, try installing the WinWay product again
9. If the installation fails, repeate above steps, this time choose "installing" instead of "uninstalling"
